The Marbella Lab is always seeking highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students interested in electrochemical energy storage, synthesis of energy materials, and operando techniques (with an emphasis on NMR/MRI characterization).
Incoming and prospective graduate students are welcome to contact Prof. Marbella via email to arrange a meeting to discuss research opportunities in the group. Please note that graduate students (PhD and masters students) need to be admitted to the PhD/MS program in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University to join.
Undergraduates who are interested in participating in undergraduate research should contact Prof. Marbella via email. External undergraduates are encouraged to apply to the summer REU program in chemical engineering at Columbia.
MS level: The Marbella lab is currently looking to hire a new MS student in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University to help us study ion dynamics in next generation electrode materials. Research for credit is available. If you are interested, please contact Prof. Marbella (email@example.com).
PhD level: In the fall of 2020, we plan to hire at least 1 PhD student. More information on the project(s) will be available closer to that time.
