The Marbella Lab is currently seeking highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students interested in electrochemical energy storage, synthesis of energy materials, and operando techniques (with an emphasis on NMR/MRI characterization).
Interested postdoctoral scholars should send a cover letter, CV, 1 page description of previous research, 1 page description of research interests in Prof. Marbella's lab, and 3 references for letters of recommendation to Prof. Marbella via email. Experience in solid-state synthesis, solid-state NMR/MRI, electrochemistry, and/or nanoparticle synthesis are preferred. Please note that applicants must already hold or be close to obtaining a Ph. D in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or related fields.
Incoming and prospective graduate students are welcome to contact Prof. Marbella via email to arrange a meeting to discuss research opportunities in the group. Please note that graduate students (Ph. D. and masters students) need to be admitted to the graduate program in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University to join.
Undergraduates who are interested in participating in undergraduate research should contact Prof. Marbella via email.
